Tornado Alley

You look up though the sunroof just as the tornado passes over the car. Luckily, it doesn't touch down. You see into the funnel, all the way to the blue sky at the top. Lightning flashes all around.
Unbelievably, you live!

Today, I read "Tornado Alley." The book was written by Lesley Ito. The main character in the book is a writer. One day, his boss told him to travel to small towns and write about them. He went to a small town, and the town was called "Tornado Alley." Then, he met two people, Andy and Jo. They are tornado hunters.

My Tuesday ;)

I went to a cafe with my friend after school recently. My friend and I talked about a recent event in our school, our friends, and our high school days. We talked for a long time, so I went home a little later than usual, but I had a very good time. I think we were so noisy because we laughed out loud there. We might cause people in a cafe a lot of trouble, so I am sorry about this. We will meet next Tuesday, then we will quiet...

The Spider and the Beehive

The spider was ready for the next treat. But when he tried to climb out of the hive, he was stuck. His had become too big! "Help! Get me out!" he cried. The boy said, "You have not been very nice to me. Good-bye, greedy spider!" Then off he went.(pp. 12-13) Today I read The Spider and the Beehive. The book was written by Kama Einhorn. Once upon a time, there was a small village and a little boy and a tricky spider are in it. The boy was good at finding the biggest and sweetest fruit in the village. Then, the tricky spider suggested going to jungle and getting some fruits with the boy. The boy and the spider went into the jungle, but the spider had fruits all to himself, and then he gained weight, so when he ate up all the sweet honey into a beehive, he could not get out of it! The boy did not help him. Ahter all, the spider was able to get out, but he mended his ways and always shared his fruits since then. I think that the spilit of mutual aid is very very im

Stay with my friend

Today, I'm going to talk about my weekend. I stayed with my friend's new house. She and I are from the same hometown and went to our scool with her until quite recently, but she moved to Kumamoto city near our scool, so I could not go together. I went to her house for the first time. I took chopstick rests to her because she told me that she wanted them. Her room is very clean. I ate foods made by her, and it's very delicious. I had a nice time!
