"Not if I can help it," thought the ant. He ran up the man's leg and bit him.
The man yelped and dropped the net to clutch his leg.
"Thank you my little friend," cooed the dove, as she flew away.
And the moral is... One good turn deserves another. (p.22-23)
One day, an ant had slipped in to the water. He couldn't swim, so he panicked. And then, a friendly dove flew by and she helped him. The following day, the ant saw the dove. She was trapped by a man. Then, the ant decided to help her and he ran up the man's leg and bit him. Thanks to the ant, the dove was saved. The moral of this story was that one good turn deserves another. After I read it, I thought that I had to return the favor to my friends, family, and so on.
