Val's Diary

I didn't know what to say. I don't know what to say now.
I feel confused!! I don't want to go back to the city just yet. What about Luke?
But I don't want to leave Sally and all my friends either.
Mum says that I never know what I want. Dad says that this is normal when you're 14.
I think they're also a bit confused! Anyway before we left　I wrote a note to Luke with my address and telephone number.
I hope he calls me and if he doesn't ... I'll call him.
Whew! What a holiday. I've got so much to tell Sally!




Today I read Val's Diary. The book was written by Mary Flagan.
School's over at last! Summer holidays are here but who  wants to spend them in the countryside? Not Val, of course! She hates the country, but eventually she'll change her mind. Guess why! Read her diary and find it.
She tells her diary all about herself, her moods, her emotions and her dreams. This country holiday is really boring and she can't stand it, but don't despair ... something very exciting will happen soon, thanks to Luke and the others!
As for me, I want to experience her life! She looked very happy because Luke is with her. I envious of her...

I went to a cafe with my friend after school recently. My friend and I talked about a recent event in our school, our friends, and our high school days. The Spider and the Beehive

The spider was ready for the next treat. But when he tried to climb out of the hive, he was stuck. His had become too big! "Help! Get me out!" he cried. The boy said, "You have not been very nice to me. Good-bye, greedy spider!" Then off he went.(pp. 12-13) Today I read The Spider and the Beehive. The book was written by Kama Einhorn. Once upon a time, there was a small village and a little boy and a tricky spider are in it. The boy was good at finding the biggest and sweetest fruit in the village. Then, the tricky spider suggested going to jungle and getting some fruits with the boy. The boy and the spider went into the jungle, but the spider had fruits all to himself, and then he gained weight, so when he ate up all the sweet honey into a beehive, he could not get out of it! The boy did not help him. Ahter all, the spider was able to get out, but he mended his ways and always shared his fruits since then. I think that the spilit of mutual aid is very very im

SHREK THE THIRD

'Shrek, can you be the new King?' The King is dying but Shrek doesn't want to be the new King. With Donkey and Puss In Boots, he goes to find Arthur, the King's heir. But Prince Charming has other ideas ... Today, I read SHREK THE THIRD, a book in the Popcorn ELT Readers series. The story is famous in Japan, so I know the name of story. The book has a lot of picture. Thanks to this, it is very enjoyable to read, I think. Shrek is big, but afraid of things. So I think he is very cute, and I love him, too!
