The Little Mermaid

Prince Eric falls in the water. Ariel swims fast. She holds Prince Eric. She swims up.
Ariel takes Prince Eric to the beach.
She looks at his face. Is he sleeping? Is he okay?
Prince Eric opens his eyes. He is okay!
Ariel leaves the beach. But she watchs Prince Eric.
Ariel swims away. She swims back to her home in the ocean.
But she thinks about Eric.
Ariel thinks and thinks. Prince Eric, Prince Eric, Prince Eric, Prince Eric!
Ariel loves Prince Eric.
"I love Prince Eric," Ariel says.
King Triton is angry. "NO! You are a mermaid. You're not a human!"

Today I read The little mermaid. Ariel is a mermaid. She loves human things. One day Ariel sees a boat ... and a Prince on the boat. Suddenly there is a storm. Prince Eric falls in the water and Ariel helps him. And then, Ariel falls in love with him ... This story was very nice! When I was a child, I read the book. I like this story! This book has about 100 words, so you can read easily.

The Spider and the Beehive

The spider was ready for the next treat. But when he tried to climb out of the hive, he was stuck. His had become too big! "Help! Get me out!" he cried. The boy said, "You have not been very nice to me. Good-bye, greedy spider!" Then off he went.(pp. 12-13) Today I read The Spider and the Beehive. The book was written by Kama Einhorn. Once upon a time, there was a small village and a little boy and a tricky spider are in it. The boy was good at finding the biggest and sweetest fruit in the village. Then, the tricky spider suggested going to jungle and getting some fruits with the boy. The boy and the spider went into the jungle, but the spider had fruits all to himself, and then he gained weight, so when he ate up all the sweet honey into a beehive, he could not get out of it! 'Shrek, can you be the new King?' The King is dying but Shrek doesn't want to be the new King. With Donkey and Puss In Boots, he goes to find Arthur, the King's heir. But Prince Charming has other ideas ... Today, I read SHREK THE THIRD, a book in the Popcorn ELT Readers series. The story is famous in Japan, so I know the name of story. The book has a lot of picture. Thanks to this, it is very enjoyable to read, I think. Shrek is big, but afraid of things. So I think he is very cute, and I love him, too!
