The litter queen

The next day, Chip was at school. He spoke to Mr Johnson in the playground.
"Look at all the litter," he said. "There are crisp pockets and wrappers all over the ground."
"Yes," said Mr Johnson. "But how do we stop everyone from throwing litter on the ground?"
"Let's do a litter project," Chip said.
The children in Mr  Johnson's class picked up all the litter around the school. Then they made posters and wrote stories.
Mr Johnson put the project in the "Save our countryside" competition.
Mr Johnson's class won the competition.
Chip won a special prize for his story called "The Litter Queen". An impoetant person came to give out the prize.
"That was a very good story, Chip," she said.
"It was a nightmare!" said Chip.

Today I read The litter queen. The book was  written by Roderick Hunt. Chip is careless about dropping litter. Meeting the Litter Queen soon teachs him a lesson. A litter project which is started by Chip is very nice, I think. Like Green Island, this story tells me importance of saving environment. So I want everyone to read this book.

The Spider and the Beehive

The spider was ready for the next treat. But when he tried to climb out of the hive, he was stuck. His had become too big! "Help! Get me out!" he cried. The boy said, "You have not been very nice to me. Good-bye, greedy spider!" Then off he went.(pp. 12-13) Today I read The Spider and the Beehive. The book was written by Kama Einhorn. Once upon a time, there was a small village and a little boy and a tricky spider are in it. The boy was good at finding the biggest and sweetest fruit in the village. Then, the tricky spider suggested going to jungle and getting some fruits with the boy. The boy and the spider went into the jungle, but the spider had fruits all to himself, and then he gained weight, so when he ate up all the sweet honey into a beehive, he could not get out of it! The boy did not help him. Ahter all, the spider was able to get out, but he mended his ways and always shared his fruits since then. I think that the spilit of mutual aid is very very im

SHREK THE THIRD

'Shrek, can you be the new King?' The King is dying but Shrek doesn't want to be the new King. With Donkey and Puss In Boots, he goes to find Arthur, the King's heir. But Prince Charming has other ideas ... Today, I read SHREK THE THIRD, a book in the Popcorn ELT Readers series. The story is famous in Japan, so I know the name of story. The book has a lot of picture. Thanks to this, it is very enjoyable to read, I think. Shrek is big, but afraid of things. So I think he is very cute, and I love him, too!
