A Jack and Three Queens

"The real Queen Elizabeth didn't go to the play," continued Lord Cecil. "We knew about a plot to kidnap her, so the young actor, Jack, took hher place."
"Which meant Kipper had to take my place," smailed Jack.
"Thanks for nothing," snorted Kipper.
"But what about kidnappers?" asked Jack.
Biff looked at the others. "Two of them have been dealt with, but one is still on the loose."
"He'll be well away by now," said Lord Cecil. "It was a fast tide!"
"He'll be back, though," said Biff quitely.
Queen Elizabeth turned to go. "Well, thank you one and all," she said. "I will send Lord Cecil to tthe theatre to reward you."
Wilf pressed his Link. "Portal position please, Tyler. The show's over, We're coming home."

Today I read A Jack and three Queens. The book was written by David Hunt. When Biff, Wilf and Kipper travel back in time to Elizabethan London, they know that the Virans could be anywhere. But they don't expect their adventure to take them to the theatre - where they meet a certain William Shakespeare, and even Queen Elizabeth herself!

Once upon a time, there was a small village and a little boy and a tricky spider are in it. The boy was good at finding the biggest and sweetest fruit in the village. Then, the tricky spider suggested going to jungle and getting some fruits with the boy. The boy and the spider went into the jungle, but the spider had fruits all to himself, and then he gained weight, so when he ate up all the sweet honey into a beehive, he could not get out of it! 'Shrek, can you be the new King?' The King is dying but Shrek doesn't want to be the new King. With Donkey and Puss In Boots, he goes to find Arthur, the King's heir. But Prince Charming has other ideas ... Today, I read SHREK THE THIRD, a book in the Popcorn ELT Readers series. The story is famous in Japan, so I know the name of story. The book has a lot of picture. Thanks to this, it is very enjoyable to read, I think. Shrek is big, but afraid of things. So I think he is very cute, and I love him, too!
